| The RW Annual Golf Outing was established over the Labor Day weekend in 2003 in Door County, Wisconsin. It is two days of family gatherings and a memorial to Richard Wendell Fuller, brother, husband, father, grandfather and enthusiastic golfer. He was affectionately called RW by his family and that moniker has become the call sign for our gathering. RW was born in Green Bay and raised in Sturgeon Bay where he graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School. He attended St. Norbert's College and graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in civil engineering. Dick married Pat Bowar and they raised four children, Rick, Mary, Mike and Steve. He spent his entire career with Milwaukee County and returned to Door County in retirement. It is there that family and friends gather for fun, friendship, and golf. It is a time to catch up on the changing lives of busy people and to share memories and lots and lots of food. The group photos below are of the expert golfers who play in the annual golf outing. We have hats, shirts, wind breakers, golf balls, tees, towels, and trophys with the RW logo. We might not be good golfers, but we look good. |
